Vijay was such a pleasure to do business with! Our carpet in our beach house had several stains that he successfully removed. He cleaned the carpets in three bedrooms and closets, as well as a small throw rug. When he was finished, everything smelled fresh and clean, and still does!! What I was so shocked about was his ability to remove mildew and mold from the carpet in front of a sliding glass door that had been leaking in heavy rain/hurricanes. I didn’t expect him to be able to clean it at all and assumed we’d need to replace it, but not only did he clean it, but he also provided suggestions to remove the mildew from the pad and carpet backing. It was nothing short of remarkable! Vijay is honest, on time, comes prepared to work and gets the job done. I will absolutely use him again and will recommend him to everyone.

I have been using Vijay and Green Steps Carpet Care for at least 3 years now to clean my vacation rental property “The Happy Pelican” in Ocean Isle Beach. He has never failed to do a great job. Vijay is very knowledgeable about carpet materials, stains and what is needed to get them looking like new again.
As you can imagine, a rental beach house’s carpets take a lot of punishment with the number of guests who come through our house. I needed a service that could handle the stain challenges that my house has from guests having a good time. I need the carpets to be spotless and clean. I also need a method that leaves the carpet dry for the quick turnover we get weekly. I also like that his system is more environmentally friendly then other services I checked. Vijay has never failed us. In summary, great service, knowledgeable, great results, excellent tough stain removal, unique dry cleaning system, less harmful to carpets saving me money in the long run, and good business ethics.

We wanted to support a local business and needed our carpets shampooed in a rental before we moved. Found Green Steps Carpet Care on Yelp and decided to request a quote. They were the first to respond and the price quote was so reasonable. At that point, with their 5 star reviews, it was a no-brainer. I booked them 3 weeks prior to the service date, and they showed up as we discussed. The owner showed up not just on time, but was very respectful and did AN AMAZING JOB!!!!! We have 3 big dogs, so it was not an easy task. Very affordable. Totally recommended! We just moved into a brand new house, and ANYTHING that needs to be shampooed in the future, whether it be carpets, rugs or upholstery, I will be using Green Steps. He did an awesome job! We did rush the poor guy, but he still did an outstanding job and was quick and let me know how to maintain it and even got up a huge grease spot on my carpet! A previous carpet cleaner couldn’t get it up. Took him like two hours max! Friendly, didn’t mind all the questions we had and answered them happily. With fairly severe allergy issues, I had to have chemical-free carpet cleaning. Vijay was extremely knowledgeable and competent and did a terrific job on my large area rug.
